Evergreen Smart Power for Housing Developers

Cost-effective ways to meet carbon reduction targets

The shift towards Net Zero means new paradigms: new building regulations and new carbon reduction targets. As people switch to electric cars and electric heating systems, housing developers will face accompanying network design challenges.

We anticipate a steep rise in domestic energy usage. This increase will lead to requirements for thicker cables to carry the energy, and larger overall grid connections. Unfortunately not all sites are in locations with spare grid capacity to tap into.

Evergreen is building smart grid solutions to address these problems in a cost-effective, consumer-friendly manner. The technology we are building through DINO and other collaborations allows assets on a network to coordinate to keep loads within prearranged safety limits without the need to oversize cabling or upgrade grid connections.
